The Art

A wine glass is an intimate object. It rests in the hand. It meets the lips. It marks moments of pause, celebration, reflection, and connection. Adding stone to something so personal transforms it from a vessel into an experience.

Each glass is created individually, by hand. No templates. No duplication. The stones are selected for their natural character, not symmetry or perfection. I work slowly, allowing the materials to guide the design rather than forcing them into a predetermined outcome.

 Stone carries weight, both literally and symbolically. It grounds. It steadies. It brings the body out of rush and into presence.

When stone is incorporated into a functional object, it changes how that object is experienced. The glass feels different in your hand. Heavier. More anchored. You notice it. You slow down. The act of drinking becomes more intentional.

This is not accidental.

Much of my work centers on helping people move out of constant urgency and back into awareness. These glasses support that same shift in a subtle, embodied way. They don’t announce themselves. They invite attention simply by being what they are.
